Biggest news EVER....Our New Para has ARRIVED!!!!!!!!   Meet Ms. Williams!!!!!!!!!!

Hard at work!

Chris is seriously into learning to read!!!!!!!

Class Challenge Of the Week:
Learning about our new para.
Class Goal Of the Week:
Welcoming our new Para!!!!
Parent Question of the Week:

"Why won't my child listen!!!"

Ummm OUCH...ok this is so tough because they don't always listen for us either!!  We use tough love, LOTS of rewards  and seriously, just keep pushing forward.  We love what we do and we just want to keep our kids learning and happy.  CONSISTENCY is the key.  We must do what is right by them ALL the time.  With this, routine and expectations are in place and we can move forward and continue to grow.
Coming up this week!!
Our new home note is in effect. Please leave it in the folder so I can collect at the end of the week.  We are switching to a discussion on fall topics.  Leaves, Bats, Cats, Pumpkins and more!!!!
Coming up in October!
CSS is in charge of the Fall Carnival and we will be looking for ideas and thoughts on what we will do.  The theme thus far is Where Wild Things Are to go with the theme of the school year.  Looking forward to working with all of you and seeing you there!

Teacher thought of the week:
“I've come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element in the classroom. It's my daily mood that makes the weather. As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child's life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or de-humanized.”  Dr. Haim Ginott

  1. I love this picture of you tongue out deep into the lesson...the pure joy on your face is only matched by the deep joy in the faces of each student.
I also love that Haim quote.
