Finally....a great team!
This week we got our new para in the classroom! Mrs. Ethel G. She is amazing and loves on these boys like they are her own grandbabies...just what the teacher ordered! :) I love her style, spirit and patience. Her facial expressions will have you in a fit of giggles and enjoying every minute of your day. She is great! OK, so this week, we mainly stuck with the curriculum, ( ok maybe a few art projects...) we are winding down the Fall portion of the curriculum, will do a bit of "Halloween" across the world next week and then we move into "giving thanks". Please dress the kiddos up, we will have a Halloween party on Oct 31st and I will send home a sign up sheet for you all to pick an item to send in for the party! You are more than welcome to stop in as well! Enjoy the pics from the week and be on the look out for important papers in the home notes folder!

Class Goal Of the Week:
Finish our Fall Unit and move on
Parent Question of the Week:
"What do you do all day?"
WOWZA what don't we do! Our day starts at 830 with breakfast. We sit together until 845 when the morning meeting automatically goes off on the computer signaling the boys to clean up, check schedule and sit at morning circle. At that time we have a 25 minute long morning circle which incorporates a lot of key elements. Alphabet knowledge, number recognition, days of the week, months of the year, seasons, etc. We also have seasonal and fun songs in there to motivate the boys and get them ready for the day. After morning meeting we check schedule and start our four 20 minute rotation through literacy centers. Work with teacher, independent work, art table and sensory table. Each of those centers is literacy based. After that we have lunch at 1030...yes very early. We come back, have story time, recess and then regroup for afternoon circle which includes our math portion of the curriculum. We complete small group math rotations and regroup again for our ULS ( social studies/sciences) lessons and finish out wiht social skills training. By then it is time for reward/choice time and then snack. Our day FLIES by!
