Turkey Time! Gobble Gobble!

Preppin' Turkey's!
I will not blog at all next week
The week is short, too much to eat!
On Monday we have a festival
With food, and crafts and best of all
We watch a movie, Charlie Brown
I am sure you recall when he was Mayflower bound!
And the one about Thanksgiving Day
The kids will have a blast I do say!
This week we made Pilgrims and turkeys too
It took lots of paints, glitter and glue.
Don't worry, of course there were ABC's
H stands for Harvest what we get from our seeds
We ended our week with Ms. S's favorite creation
It involved some pinecones, she smiled with elation!
As we crafted and created our Thanksgiving Mascot
Was there a happier room in CSS? Nope there was not.
All of you give thanks, and have a wonderful holiday
I am thankful that I have your children in my room every day.

Class Challenge Of the Week:
Making all our turkey crafts!
Class Goal Of the Week:
Hands to self
Parent Question of the Week:
"What are you doing for the holidays?"
Ok, do you mean in the class or out?!  In the class we have lots to do, between both maintaining curriculum and teaching about seasons, months, holidays, we will be quite busy.  We are learning about country and cities so we will discuss different traditions and how people celebrate between differently but the same.  Same and different are difficult concepts for our boys.   On a personal note!  I will enjoy my beautiful family for Thanksgiving and have special guests for dinner ( in laws).  And then we have some special out of town guests coming for Christmas to surprise my children ( my parents).  This is teaming up to be a wonderful holiday season.  ENJOY!
