My little elves have been busy all week
Crafting creating and making some treats
Science experiments, cooking things too
A gingerbread train! All Aboard CHOO CHOO
Book of the month about trees in the woods
Decorated our own with all of the goods
Glitter, paint, glue and tons of shiny things
On Friday we heard lots of little bells ring!
Polar Express, "to the North Pole of course!"
St. Nick came to visit throwing coins of gold for us
After the weeks events we sat down and had a treat
Brought to us by Santas Helper, Oh gosh it was sweet!
We hope you enjoy the weekend, the last 'for vacation
And when we come back we'll be filled with motivation
I can not wait to celebrate your children's amazing growth
And show you all they've done this year and give you this oath
'Continue working with them and working with me too
And you will see outstanding things from your child and from YOU!'
A new year ahead, and a clear vision is in sight
Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night!
See you in the New Year Parents!!!!!

Parent Question of the Week:
"What are you doing this week?"
WELLLLLLLL.....good question! We are filling our week with Grinch activities. This is a school wide event and I am thrilled to have our class participating in this. We will be doing basic academic skills like, sorting, graphing, sequencing, retelling the story, etc. But all will be Grinch infused. We will make Grinch rice krispie treats for our cooking activity and we will have a BLAST at our parent xmas party on Thursday. I really hope you all come because the kids have worked HARD for two weeks to prep a lovely surprise for you. Throughout the week we will view the Grinch in several ways. We will read the book, watch the old fashioned Seuss version, and then the culminating party will be on Friday with the newest version of the Grinch starring Jim Carey. This was why it was so important to get the permission slips in on time. So thank you! We also will be preparing our room for the new year. All decorations will be taken down by Friday in preparation to have our room scrubbed and waxed. There will be no blog next week as I am hoping you will all come celebrate with your children and see just exactly what they have been doing in the previous week. See you Thursday!
Good job teach. As parents of a special needs child we have learned to truly appreciate the little things in life. The little bits of progress, the little accomplishments, the little happy moments. So imagine how we feel about the big things. Abbie joining your class is a big thing. We have seen more progress in the last two weeks than in the last year. We haven't been this hopeful in a long time. There are times when hope is all we have so you can imagine how important being even a little hopeful is. Keep it up, you make a difference.
