This week was amazing, fabulous even
Carving pumpkins, dog adoptions, kiddos trick or treatin'.

We are happy where we are and keep pluggin' along
Now we move forward, November is here,
The air is more chilly, Thanksgiving is near.
What more can we learn? We have a long way to go
We will not stop, til the "HO HO HO".

Class Challenge Of the Week:
Find all the pumpkin seeds that went flying out of the pumpkin!
Class Goal Of the Week:
Finish the pumpkin unit and move into November!
Parent Question of the Week:
"Does my child really have to do homework?"
YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!! We have got to show children that there is a correlation between school and home. It is so important that they do work with you and that you can see just what they are capable of as well! You would be proud. And do not forget, that homework is reflected in grading as well. Do not think of it as work for you, try to make it less stressful by turning it into a reward. Yes it can be tough to get a child to do homework, but it will be so worth it when you see all the hard work they have done.
Mrs. Suratt, as always I enjoyed seeing all the pictures of your class this week. It really helps seeing what David is doing in class, so we can reinforce the skills he is gaining at home.
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled that you read this. I wish more would respond!!!!! <3 Thank you for all you do and I hope David did well at his appt. :)
