I spent the past week preparing the room for my kiddos. Our jungle theme is in full swing and I can not wait to welcome your babies into the jungle!!!! In our first week we will be working on schedules and how to use them and what the expectations are in the classroom. I want to advise you that I am very firm, when initially working with the kids in order to establish the expectations that both the class and myself expect. Learning the schedule is disguised by lots of fun one on one and group projects. This also works as getting to know you activities and helps with the transition back into school. Our first day we will read The Kissing Hand and I will be sending home an activity that we do in class. I can not wait to blog next Sunday and talk all about our week!
